“Welcome to Ecuador”: Francisco Torres, president of the Ecuadorian Golf Federation

It’s an honor and a privilege for the Ecuatorian Golf Federation to be once again host of the South American Amateur Open, to be held ins this occasion in the Quito Tennis and Golf Club.

This year, still complicated for the pandemic caused by COVID-19 in the entire planet, requires us to take the biosecurity measures to guarantee the security and good health of the players, taking on the challenge to organize the competition, be the host of all the guest delegations from America and conduct a tournament in a successful way.

We will have the participation of the best players in the region, as well as the best golfers of Central America and the Caribbean, on a week of competition at the highest level, friendship and fraternity.

We’d like to thank the South American Golf Federation for trusting in Ecuador again to be the host of a tournament of such importance. We hope that all players, delegates and authorities have a pleasant week in our country and enjoy a competition at the highest level.
