Argentina is ready to the 13th South Amateur Amateur Open this week in Martindale
Led by Alejandro Tosti of Argentina and Isabella Fierro from Mexico, 25 countries will be represented on the 2018 edition of the South Amateur Amateur Open, the first major Latin American golf competition in 2018 in Martindale Country Club in Buenos Aires (Argentina).
Tosti and Fierro present their credentials as the best players in the field according to the latest World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), the amateur world count and that serves as a parameter to recognize the quality of amateur players around the planet.
The thirteenth edition of this South American Amateur Open will also feature 25 players that will be taking part next week in the Latin American Amateur Championship (LAAC) in Chile, a situation that allow our region to be the epicenter of amateur golf at the beginning of the year.
In addition to nine South American nations, the South American Amateur Open will have players representing Canada, Costa Rica, England, Finland, Guatemala, Iceland, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Scotland, the United States and Wales.
